Both passionate about gardening, Karine and Alain (an amateur painter whose works you can admire in the gîte) welcome you to a charming, authentic, traditional 19th-century Bresse farmhouse, carefully restored and nestled in a peaceful cul-de-sac, on the edge of a quiet little rural residential hamlet.
Enjoy total peace and tranquility, nestled in a restful landscaped setting, bordering fields and meadows (with cows as close neighbors in season), a stone's throw from a small wild forest bordering a bucolic pond, in the heart of a gently rolling plateau blending agriculture and unspoiled nature (perfect for relaxing walks or mountain biking). In the heart of the unspoiled Louhans countryside (largely classified as a ZNIEFF for its rich fauna and flora), a stone's throw from the banks of the Seille, a remarkable ecosystem prized by anglers and nature lovers alike, protected as a "Natura 2000" site (a migratory bird sanctuary, home to rare plant species, numerous fish including the famous wels catfish, and other wildlife), not far from the foothills of the Jura mountains.
