Charming, authentic, traditional Morvan farmhouse dating from the 19th century, carefully restored, nestled in a quiet cul-de-sac at the end of a small dead-end road, bordering a lane on the edge of a peaceful, picturesque, and well-preserved little village clustered around a charming old-world square (located just steps away). Beautifully situated on a panoramic hillside overlooking a valley of wooded meadows, in the heart of a preserved countryside (protected as a ZNIEFF & Natura 2000 site for its rich fauna and flora), on the slopes of the famous Mont Beuvray, an exceptional viewpoint reaching 821m offering extraordinary views (as far as Mont Blanc!), occupied at its summit by the Bibracte oppidum, one of the best-preserved ancient Gallic fortified towns covering 200 hectares (awarded the prestigious "Grand Site de France" label). A sublime landscaped setting surrounded by gentle mountains, blending agriculture and unspoiled nature between bucolic hedged meadows dotted with ponds and streams, and deep, wild forests (perfect for relaxing walks or mountain biking). Un gite...au bord d'une village avec un café, un restaurant, une boulangerie, un distributeur de viandes...tout ce qu'il fautun gite...installé comme on est chez soiun gite..avec des proprétaires super!pour nous et nos 2 chiens... un séjour inoubliable!c'était le max!

Bonne communication et excellent accueil. Le gîte est au calme et les pièces de vie sont spacieuses et agréables. Cuisine bien équipée. Comme partout en France, la météo a été désastreuse lors de notre séjour, mais le feu de bois (et les beignets) nous ont reconfortés.
